Birgit was born and raised in Germany, during which time she traveled the world and lived in Ireland, France, and the United States. Her experience gives TREW marketing an international touch, while providing valuable insight into different cultures and their marketing approaches. Birgit started her education in Germany with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and International Business, which she followed up with a Master's Degree in Business Administration in the United States. She is fluent in 3 languages, including English, German, and French, and very comfortable in a multicultural environment. Birgit's professional background includes many years of accomplishments developing and managing marketing programs, consulting in marketing activities, and providing process improvements that have resulted in seven-figure savings. She spent 5 years in the life sciences industry as a key contributor to the corporate marketing, sales, and European marketing teams of Sigma-Aldrich Corporation. Birgit is the co-founder of a number of websites, and has a proven track record with experience in online marketing. Her expertise spans online advertising, website development, content authoring, traffic and keyword analysis, usability tests, lead generation, and Web 2.0 incl. blogs, forums, social networking, and affiliate programs. In her free time, Birgit enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her two cats, family and friends. |
